The Depot is the newly renovated, 1920’s Hempstead, Texas railroad depot. The two luxurious bedrooms and the gathering room sleep 7 people. The Gathering Room is furnished with comfortable seating for 15 people. Two spacious bays provide space for luxurious, antique day beds to accommodate two guests. (A party of five may reserve the Whistle Stop Room and the Gathering Room as a private unit for $300.00.) The kitchenette is common to all guests and a third bath is available for extra guests. Attached is a large outdoor deck for rockin’, relaxin’, and swappin’ stories.

~ Thank you for making this a memorable birthday celebration.  I love the serenity and warmth of your retreat.  The breakfast you provided was top notch!  We also loved the swing – great therapy for the soul.  Your special touches including fresh flowers, flavorful fresh fruit and scrumptious egg casserole were special treats we both enjoyed just as much as gazing at the stars last night.
